When you trust us with your personal data we take our responsibility to protect it very seriously. We respect privacy, and your rights to control your personal data.

The prime purpose of collecting your data is to provide you with services.  (“Services”) offered either online via Skype or in clinical consultation.  Online purchases are in the form of purchased Health Packages or Online Health Programmes.  Clinical consultation is working one-to-one within a client / practitioner setting.

Abundantly Healthy You will collect information about you during the course of doing business with you.

Your contact information may be used for the following reasons: To send you supplement protocols, to send you nutritional advice; to send you supplements from our trusted companies; to send you private lab test kits and the lab test results; to send you information made relevant by and related to your consultations.

There may also be marketing material, sent to you via email as part of Abundantly Healthy You’s legitimate interest in promoting its business. You may request that this ceases at any time; you can also ask that your information not be used in this way from the beginning. This information will be shared with our email marketing partners at Mailchimp who actually send out the emails which Abundantly Healthy You creates. You can opt out of this at any time.

If you are a client, your email address may be used to send you an invoice via email or via PayPal (paypal.com) and may be used to accept payments from you or to issue refunds where needed.

How we protect your data

All information that you share with us will be stored in a secure locked filing-cabinet or on a secure computer-based system and used only in connection with the work we do together through client-practitioner consultations. It will never be shared with anyone else under any circumstances.

Abundantly Healthy You will keep different information for different periods of time, as follows:

Information Abundantly Healthy You keeps for marketing purposes will be kept until you ask for it to be removed. If you ask, it will be removed immediately the request is received.

Clinical consultation health related information will be kept for a period of ten years after you have formally announced the cessation of our work together, which is an obligation of my profession. This will include your contact information, completed questionnaires and health information.  It will be kept in a locked filing cabinet in a locked room.

Financial information is required by Law to be kept for seven years as invoiced.

Your rights: Under the new Laws, you have certain rights, detailed below. You may use the contact details at Item 2 to request any of these rights in your own words.

The right to have your contact information removed.

You can request to remove only marketing information, consultation health questionnaires, booking information, or everything.

You have the right to be sent a copy of all the information Abundantly Healthy You holds about you within 30 days.  Abundantly Healthy You will honour this request as quickly as possible; if it can’t be managed within 30 days Abundantly Healthy You will let you know. There will not be any charge for this.

You have the right to have your information corrected; if any information Abundantly Healthy You holds about you is wrong then please notify Abundantly Healthy You and we will amend it to be accurate.

From the outset, you have the right to object to the storing and processing of your information and you can request to have it removed at any time.

You have the right to complain about the holding of your information. If Abundantly Healthy You cannot resolve your complaint, or you feel that the response is inadequate, you can take your complaint to the Courts. If you choose this latter approach Abundantly Healthy You would advise you to seek qualified legal advice.
