When using saunas for therapeutic reasons, it is recommended that one must use the sauna each day. Alternatively saunas can be combined with Pete Mud Baths.

The difference between far infrared saunas and conventional saunas…
A conventional sauna (wet or dry) super heats the air which does not penetrate the skin. This extreme heat 180 – 240F is hard on the respiratory system, eyes and carries warnings for heart conditions.
The Far Infrared (FIR) sauna is used between 100-120F, where waves of heat penetrate one and a half inches into the body, causing toxins, heavy metals and poisons to be released from the fat and water cells and out through our sweat.
Approximately 20% of this sweat is toxins compared to 2 – 3% in a conventional sauna.
